Sponsored Residential Support Services
Maybe you are interested in a smaller family setting. Our Sponsored Residential providers will welcome you into their home and value you as a member of the family. There may be another housemate, spouse, partner, children and pets that share your home.
These providers have the experience and training necessary to provide you with the same supports you would receive in any of our residential services. Homes are located throughout the area and provide many different living experiences.
Sponsored Residential Providers open their homes to one or two individuals with developmental disabilities and welcome them into their family. There are couples, single people, families with children, etc. who are committed to providing the daily supports necessary to ensure that those in their care have a great quality of life.
Would you like to become a Sponsor and support someone in your own home? Do you have experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities?
Basic requirements include:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass a thorough background check
- Safe and secure home setting (leased or owned)
- Private/lockable room for resident
- Full insurance coverage on home and vehicles
- Resources to cover 90 days of expenses
- Identified backup worker/staff
- All required trainings can be provided
